My name is Keith Lippe, and I write and maintain Dirt Simple. I’m a Canadian, currently living in the United States with my wife and our menagerie of pets.
I have a diverse background with experience in many fields. I have worked in the banking and brokerage industries, and more recently, in purchasing and materials management for municipal government. I’ve also been a reserve police constable in my home town of Vancouver, and served in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve. My education background is also diverse and includes criminology, financial planning, and computer networking.
Dirt Simple started off with a focus solely on money and personal finance, but I soon realized I couldn’t limit myself to one topic. Thus the subtitle, ‘A blog about stuff.’
